2012-2013 Concert Schedule

• November 8, 2012: A Salute to Veterans
• November 29, 2012: Joint concert with Ely High School Band
• December 2012 (date TBA): Christmas Concert at a local nursing home
• February 14, 2013: Valentine's Concert with the Choralaires
• May 2, 2013: Spring Concert
• The band is also scheduling performances at local high schools with local high school bands

Rehearsals

The Mesabi Community Band is under the direction of Paul Helfter and rehearses Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 PM in Room C175 at Mesabi Range Community and Technical College, 9th Avenue and W Chestnut Street, Virginia, Minnesota (map). Rehearsals run from September through May with two or three concerts each academic year. All musicians young and old are welcomed to participate, even if they haven't played an instrument in a few years. If you have questions, please contact Paul (218-741-7478) or Skip (218-749-6517).
